Food beyond compare, food beyond belief in the Corners of Khorvaire!

People from all over the continent come to the City of Towers and most of them bring their appetites with them. The styles of food available in Sharn are truly staggering to those with a curious palate. From the swankiest bistros of the highest towers to the smallest carts of the Cogs, one needn't go far to satisfy one's rumbly tummy. Especially if one is feeling adventurous!

As I visited Daca's Watch in High Hope, I met Keeray Kerroc Kissel, a fellow Zil and purveyor of fine foodstuffs from his very own floating foodcoach. He was in high spirits as he'd just received House Ghallanda certification to serve his newest menu item.

I don't mean to gush, dear readers, but this unassuming item was simply wonderful. Mister Kissel takes ground meat ("100% beef!", he assured me) and fries it as a flat patty on a griddle. He then places it in between two halves of a bun of bread with little seeds on top of it. A various array of toppings can then be chosen from. Sharp Karrnathi cheese? Sliced vegetables? A strip or two of Tribex bacon? All manner of sauces or dressings? The gustatory possibilities are endless! You can also add a lovely side of deep fried salty potato sticks and a sweet beverage of your choosing for the full experience.

I asked Mister Kissel where he got the idea and what he called this miraculous culinary invention. He explained that it originated in our mutual homeland (imagine my surprise!) where miners in the eastern mountains wanted some food that was made fast and ready to go. Since Mister Kissel brought the idea from the city of Zolanberg, he decided to call them "Zolanbergers" or just "bergers" for short.

Bergers are quickly becoming the food craze of the summer in Sharn, with Mister Kissel already making plans to "franchise" at least three more foodcoaches. I suggested he also consider building himself a "brick and mortar" restaurant as a more permanent fixture. He smiled and tapped a finger on the side of his nose and said "I like to stay mobile, you know? But don't be surprised if you start seeing Zolanbergers on the menu of every Gold Dragon Inn soon!"

Clever innovation cuts the mustard and the rest of us just have to ketchup in the Corners of Khorvaire!
